Presidents Dinner

The director of Alumni Relations at LBS, Henry Onukwuba won a bronze medal at the CASE Circle of Excellence Award for the President’s Dinner in 2012.

Henry and the alumni relations team at LBS doubled the attendance at the President’s Dinner from 250 guests in 2009 to 520 guests in 2010. As the size of the event grew the dinner was moved to a more spacious venue at the Eko Hotel in Lagos in 2012. There were nearly 1300 guests at the President’s Dinner in 2018.

The sucess of the Dinner has led to increased alumni engagement, attendance other events such as the alumni conference also jumped from less than 200 to 450 guests. Other programmes, such as the bi-monthly alumni sessions and the alumni reunions, also witnessed growth in attendance.
